Despite the notion to buy a cheap beater to learn on, I tried the most desolate and ignored uke in the store before I left that day- a Snowfluke. It made the most beautiful sound I ever heard, and a year later of saving spare change, it is mine. I love to play it anywhere and everywhere, and take it with me almost every place I go. Being a fan of ska music, the sounds of the 80's, and Indie music, playing traditional ukulele songs doesn't sit well for me. I try to play more recent and better known songs.
