2 Day "Ukulily" Workshop with Demetrius Becrelis and Monica Rizzio of the Tripping Lily Band
Saturday and Sunday, March 21-22 [3-5 pm]
Our two day ukulele workshop will emphasize practice techniques and learning songs. The workshop will provide you with workable, easy to apply practice techniques that will create balance between left and right hand activity. The ukulele is one of the easiest instruments to learn – before you know it, you’ll be toting your uke everywhere to entertain your friends. With very few basic skills, you'll be able to play your favorite songs in any style. The instructors will present a simple way of understanding music and how to use good practice habits to improve quickly. All workshop attendees are provided with Tripping Lily's ukulele record "Ukulily," along with chord charts to each song.
Harvard Square's Club Passim has a School of Music for adults. In addition to this workshop, we also offer classes, including: mandolin, guitar, music theory, harmonica, banjo, voice, fiddle, and more.
